Colored with ink dye and metallic ink dyes. Different techniques are used in each spiral including carving, egg shell mosaic , gold leafing and textured medium. The rim is woven with dyed Danish cord and copper beads. It is embellished with a large button and upholstery tacks. The bottom has hardened beeswax for added stability and is then lined with mulberry paper.
